Damai
Lovina Villas is located on the north coast of Bali, in the
province of Buleleng, between the old capital of Singaraja
and Lovina Bay, known for its dolphins.
"Hard to find, hard to leave" is what we write in
our brochure, and actually Damai Lovina Villas is still alittle
hidden treasure, that as of now is not known by many on the
island. Jalan Damai, named after the hotel, takes the guests
high up on the roads to Damai, which is placed upon a mountainside
a few hundred meters above sea level, with a view of the entire
bay. This is one of the things, which contributes to the uniqueness
of Damai Lovina Villas, as it is rare to experience a highland
hotel with an ocean view and refreshing ocean breeze.
Damai means "peaceful" and it is truly synonymous
with the hotel. Nicely relaxed, with a serene atmosphere.
Transfer to Damai Lovina Villas takes about 3 hours from the
Airport. Our chauffeurs are skilled at informing guests as
to the sights which are on the route, as well as keeping the
guests supplied with refreshments underway.
8 bungalows, tastefully designed and decorated by the Danish
architect Bibi Holm.
6 Deluxe with their own spa-pool and open-air bathroom.
2 Superior with an open-air shower niche.
All rooms have double beds, however, single beds are available
upon request for guests staying a minimum of two nights. All
rooms can also be equipped with an extra bed, but it will
compromise the space inside the bungalow.
There are 6 rooms with sunken lounges, and the mattresses
from these can easily be converted to children's beds. Children
are welcome at Damai Lovina Villas although not advised. The
customer should be informed that there are no special activities
for them at the hotel. Damai Lovina Villas can offer babysitting
services upon request. A children's menu is available and
other meals are charged at 50%. Children under 6 years of
age stay free of charge in their parents rooms.
The Swimming Pool is saltwater, with a salinity approximately
1/7th of sea water. Together with Damai's cozy little pool
bar, it is naturally a spot where the guests congregate after
an active day.
Damai's "Bale" is the cozy little pavilion in the
middle of the gardens, where the guests can sit and read,
have a massage, or just enjoy the gamelan-music in the distance
and enjoy the sunset. The pavilion is surrounded by a small
moat filled with exotic fish.
Spa and Beauty treatments are done by Damai's team of five
dedicated and innovative massage and beauty-therapists.
